    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Senior Database Programmer Analyst** with a strong emphasis on MS SQL Server database development. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex database systems, with a focus on data retention and archiving, source control, and best practices in relational database management.

     

    This role requires proficiency in SSIS package development, C# programming, and advanced SQL querying, including performance tuning and optimization. The candidate should be experienced in normalizing data, implementing scalable database architectures, and ensuring data integrity across enterprise systems.

    Key responsibilities include:

    + Designing and implementing database solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements for data retention and archiving.

    + Developing and maintaining SSIS packages for ETL processes.

    + Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics.

    + Applying database normalization techniques to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

    + Collaborating with development teams to integrate C# applications with SQL Server databases.

    + Managing database source control using tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.

    + Enforcing and promoting database best practices, including indexing strategies, schema design, and performance tuning.

     

    The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for clean, efficient code and robust data systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are essential.

     

    **Required Experience:** 8 years Programming OR 5 years Specific Systems experience with demonstrated competency in department as a Programmer OR 4 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in Computer Science field OR 2 years high-value software skills experience with Bachelor's.
