    *Schedule:*this is a PRN (as needed) opening that does not have a set schedule or a specific number of hours it will work in a week. However, our Phlebotomists predominately work 8–12-hour shifts depending on the schedule and schedules includes: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm; 8:00 am to 6:30 pm; 12 pm to 10:30 pm; 10:00 pm to 8:30 am

    *How you’ll contribute*

    A Phlebotomist who excels in this role:

    * Collects specimens per state licensure, greets customers, and works collaboratively with other departments.

    * Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.

    * Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.

    * Maintains equipment and medical supplies.

    * Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

    *What we’re looking for*

    * Required Licensure: NV Department of Health and Human Services - Laboratory Assistant License (requires application submitted upon hire. Status "pending" for up to 6 months) or must attend a certified Phlebotomy program to obtain licensure. NV Department of Health and Human Services - Point of Care Analyst within one year of hire.

    * Required Certification: American Heart Association BLS within 60 days upon hire.
