*More about our team*

Crichton Center is a 27-bed physical rehabilitation unit providing acute care services; managing the patients' medical conditions along with providing them with the therapy/education needed to return to their prior level of function and to get home. Our most common patient diagnosis is stroke; however, we see a range of diagnoses. With the extensive services provided, our patients’ average length of stay is 14 days. Although we are a 27-bed occupancy unit, we are actively working toward expanding to 37 beds as our unit is growing.

*How you’ll contribute*

ANursing Assistant (NA) who excels in this role

* Participates in Patient Care Team’s delivery of personalized, efficient care with respect for patient’s spiritual and cultural differences.

* Consider factors related to safety, effectiveness and cost in delivery of patient care.

* Upon admission, obtain initial vital signs, height and weight

* Transports patients via appropriate means in a safe, dignified manner. Adheres to patient activity restrictions.

* Establishes positive relationships with patients/families and reports patient/family concerns accurately and concisely to appropriate care team members

*What we’re looking for *

Applicants should possessHigh School Diploma or GED. Additional requirements include:

* Completion of Nurse Aide Program or experience in related field or will provide on the job education and training

* Basic Life Support or acquire within 3 months of hire

* One year of acute care or one-year long-term care experience preferred

* Certification preferred

*Required:*High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience; or will provide on-the-job education and training—basic Life Support or acquired within the introductory period.**
