    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Join an elite team of master welders on a once-in-a-career project working directly with locomotives! This is not your typical welding job – this is a prestigious assignment that demands excellence and offers unparalleled hands-on experience with heavy rail equipment.

     

    + Duration: 8 weeks (firm commitment required)

    + Compensation: $35 per hour for qualified candidates with certification

    + Location: Mayfield, Kentucky

    + Start Date: Immediate

    + Competitive per diem for meals and lodging provided, with travel to client sites within a 50-mile radius.

     

    CERTIFIED WELDERS (10 Positions)

    Essential Requirements:

    + Current AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification

    + ASME Section IX Pressure Vessel Certification

    + Locomotive welding experience strongly preferred

    + Ability to work with heavy gauge steel and specialized locomotive components

    + Must commit to full 8-week duration - no exceptions

    TEAM LEADER (1 Position)

    + Lead this exceptional team!

    + Essential Requirements:

    + All certifications required for welders PLUS

    + Proven leadership experience in industrial/heavy equipment welding

    + AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred

    + Railroad or locomotive experience highly valued

    + Exceptional communication and team management skills
