Adecco is currently hiring immediately for **Logistics Specialist** positions in **Southfield, MI!** These are full-time, onsite roles with excellent growth potential in a tech-enabled transportation solutions environment. Overtime and occasional weekend on-call rotation may be required based on business needs and manager approval.
**Pay Rate:** $22.00
**Shift:** Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals with logistics experience who are seeking long-term opportunities. Candidates must have a clean background and strong record of good attendance.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into systems.
+ Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; provide status updates to customers and receivers.
+ Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure loads arrive on time and in good condition.
+ Take check calls from drivers to confirm on-time delivery; validate load data prior to marking as delivered for accounting purposes.
+ Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages; complete documentation accurately.
+ Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept or decline loads per account manager direction.
+ Provide drivers with detailed routing instructions to ensure efficient delivery.
What You’ll Need to Excel
At a minimum, you’ll need:
+ 1 year of logistics experience
+ General knowledge of the transportation industry
It’d be great if you also have:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
+ Ability to interpret written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and apply common sense solutions

**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
