PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst - Workday leads the administration, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of our Workday Financials modules. This role requires deep expertise in Workday Financials to lead the configuration and optimization in Workday to enable advanced reporting, analytics, business process and integrations. This role will serve as a key partner to Finance, Accounting and IT teams, to ensure that the Workday is leveraged effectively to support financial operations, reporting and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
+ Manage system upgrades, integrations, and data migrations with minimal disruption to business operations.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides.
+ Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective use of financial systems.
+ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, coordinating with IT and vendors as needed.
+ Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
+ Analyze financial data and system outputs to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
+ Support Workday financials modules, including user setup, data integration, reporting, and system configuration.
+ Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, reports, and assumptions in Adaptive Planning to meet evolving business needs.
+ Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes through system setup, data uploads, and template/report creation.
+ Function as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
+ Identify Workday and technology opportunities and challenges and analyze impact of updates.
+ Provide support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during new module implementation or enhancements to ensure system configuration accuracy and functionality.
+ Assist team members in evaluating Workday configuration options and provide guidance on building interfaces/integrations with other Finance and corporate systems.
+ Serve as the systems expert in Office Connect and the reporting expert to help build and manage all financial reports and dashboards.
+ Act as a liaison between WD Adaptive and WD financial. Ensure all updates are in sync for both systems and implement best practices between systems.
+ Stay current with Workday releases, trends, industry best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for system optimization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field; Master’s degree or CPA/CFA is a plus.
+ 5+ years of experience in financial systems analysis, with at least 3 years specializing in Workday Financials with hands-on configuration experience in areas such as core financials, expense, and/or Adaptive planning.
+ Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Advanced proficiency in creating and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.
+ Ability to provide advanced research, analysis, and testing of reported issues and/or new functionality.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting .
+ Demonstrated proficiency creating calculated fields for reports and system configuration.
+ Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
+ Outstanding project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
+ Excellent integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
+ Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to provide timely follow-up and resolution on projects and tasks.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
+ Familiarity with integration tools and APIs for connecting Workday with enterprise systems.
+ Experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
+ Proficiency SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Workday Pro Certification in Workday Finance and/or one other module is highly desirable.

Office environment – no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands and employees are regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position requires more than 80% computer use.

The current range for this position is
$104,125.20 - $175,599.98
This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors unique to each candidate, including experience, education and the location of the role and considers employees performing substantially similar work.
