Job Title: Quality Auditor

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% (Domestic and International)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000

Position Summary:

System One is partnering with our client in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Auditor to enhance our supply chain quality systems. This crucial role focuses on auditing, qualifying, and monitoring suppliers to ensure adherence to FAA 145, EASA AS9100, NADCAP, and specific customer requirements. As a Quality Auditor, you will be instrumental in the company's commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring that quality standards are met for all incoming materials, parts, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct comprehensive on-site and remote supplier audits to assess compliance with FAA/EASA regulations, AS9100/ISO 9001, NADCAP, and company standards.

+ Evaluate and qualify new suppliers while continuously monitoring and re-qualifying existing suppliers based on performance metrics.

+ Develop and manage supplier scorecards; analyze performance trends and implement corrective actions as needed.

+ Review and validate supplier documentation, including First Article Inspections (FAIs) and other quality reports.

+ Investigate supplier non-conformances, performing root cause analysis and leading corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.

+ Collaborate closely with procurement and engineering teams to define quality expectations and resolve supply chain challenges.

+ Participate in internal audits and support FAA and customer audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

+ Maintain accurate supplier quality files and records in alignment with FAA and AS9100 standards.

+ Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and across the company.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).

+ A minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace quality or supplier quality management.

+ Strong working knowledge of FAA Part 145 repair station regulations, NADCAP, AS9100, ISO 9001, and industry-specific component standards.

+ Familiarity with aerospace processing techniques including heat treating, shot peening, plating, thermal spray, and coating grinding.

+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Expertise in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and CAPA processes.

+ Preferred certification in auditing (AS9100 Lead Auditor or ISO 9001 Auditor).

+ Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Quality Management Software (QMS) is a plus.

+ Ability to travel domestically (up to 50%) for supplier audits and visits.
