    **Amteck Technologies** specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. This is a growing division of **Amteck LLC** that offers competitive pay, benefits and room for advancement within the company. We are currently hiring a **Technologies Estimator** for local and traveling roles in our Lexington, KY office. This position is based out of our Lexington, KY location with opportunities for travel nation wide.

    Responsibilities:

    • Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment

    • Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors

    • Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame

    • Assessing the risk levels associated with a project

    • Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done

    • Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers

    • Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated

    costs

    • Travel to assigned projects as needed to gain a better understanding of the work

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of field experience in electrical construction, industrial and commercial

    • Demonstrated experience pricing and budgeting electrical construction projects ranging from

    $500K to $30M or more

    • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines

    • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

    • Ability to travel periodically

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Experience with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount Cloud software

    • Strong overall computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation

    software, as well as industry-specific software

    • Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively
