    *How you’ll contribute:*

    An*Certified Surgical Tech PRN*who excels in this role:

    Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.

     

    Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.

     

    Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.

     

    Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.

    *What we’re looking for:*

    (1) of the following qualifications must be met: hold current national certification by the National Board or Surgical Technology and NBSTSA, have completed a program for surgical technology accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, have completed an appropriate training programs in Armed Forces or CAAHEP, successfully completed the surgical tech NBSTSA certifying exam. State of TN Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred.Additional requirements include:

     

    • Basic Life Support certification is required at time of hire.
