• Accounting Manager/Supervisor

    Description

    Are you an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in government contracting? We’re seeking a results-driven leader with 3+ years of experience in a management role to oversee our accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP and DCAA standards.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Lead and supervise the accounting team, overseeing AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions.

    + Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    + Manage month-end and year-end closings efficiently and on schedule.

    + Develop, implement, and train staff on accounting policies and procedures.

    + Handle monthly sales tax filings, workers’ compensation submissions, and documentation for annual audits.

    + Partner with other departments to streamline processes and support business goals.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 3+ years in an accounting leadership role, ideally within the government contracting sector.

    + Strong technical accounting expertise with a deep understanding of GAAP and DCAA compliance.

    + Proven leadership and people management skills.

    + Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

    + Proficiency in accounting software and reporting tools.
