BrightStar Care is hiring PRN/Per Diem Physical Therapist (PTs) to support our wonderful clients in Beaufort. As a per-diem Physical Therapist you create your own schedule, and choose what areas you want to work.   Benefits of a Physical Therapist PT:  * Your schedule, your rules * Take control of your case load * 1:1 In-Home Patient Care * No Oasis Paperwork * Weekly Pay * Direct Deposit * Employee Discount Programs * Employee Referral Bonus   Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist PT:  * Assess for muscle strength, mobility, gait, range of motion and pain and select appropriate treatment and assistive devices, instructing family and caregivers on use of devices * Report client’s response to treatment or changes in condition to the Director of Nursing and physician * Initiate physical therapy program and instructs other personnel, including family members and caregivers, in specific phases of physical therapy with which they may assist with the client care * Prepare clinical and progress summaries, as well as participate in discharge planning. * Treat clients, families, and staff with courtesy and respect   Requirements of a Physical Therapist PT: * Graduated with a degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program * Passed a National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and/or state examination. * License in state where care is being provided * One (1) year of appropriate experience as a physical therapist. * Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality   Come work for us and see how BrightStar Care employees uphold A Higher Standard!
