    Do you have a passion for fitness? Would you enjoy helping make fitness fun and enjoyable for families?The YMCA of Broome County is seeking an enthusiastic Family Group Exercise Instructor to lead engaging and fun fitness classes for families of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting health and wellness for all.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Plan and deliver family-friendly group exercise classes that cater to various fitness levels and age groups.

     

    - Create a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and teamwork among family members.

     

    - Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and safety measures to ensure a safe workout experience.

     

    - Adapt classes to meet the needs and abilities of participants, fostering an inclusive environment.

     

    - Promote a healthy lifestyle and educate families on the benefits of regular physical activity.

    Varying Hours:

    Between the hours of 5pm-8pm weeknights

     

    Saturdays between 8am-4pm

    Salary:

    $16.00-18.00 per hour

    Requirements

    - Certification in group exercise instruction preferred

     

    - Experience working with families or children in a fitness or recreational setting preferred

     

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with participants effectively

     

    - Ability to motivate and inspire individuals of all ages

     

    - Knowledge of various exercise formats and the ability to adapt them for family participation
