Mule Driver

+ Yard tractor/UTR is equipped with dash mounted gear selector; right accelerator foot pedal and left brake pedal.

+ Dashboard is equipped with running light buttons. § Must be able to turn head toward rear when in reverse.

+ Must wear seatbelt at all times.

YARD TRACTOR

+ Completes visual safety inspection of Yard Tractor and reports any damages or needed repairs to head mechanic.

+ Climbs steps to reach chassis platform to bend at waist to attach Glad Hands cables to chassis.

+ Hooks and unhooks safety chains possibly on mafi trailers.

+ Obtains instructions from Superintendent and Clerks regarding work plan.

+ Verbally communicates as needed.

Required Safety Gear must be worn at all times to include: Safety vest, safety glasses, steeled-toe shoes, and hard hats must be worn on terminal or in yard.
