How you create impact

As Director, Sea Logistics Business Development at Kuehne+Nagel, you will help lead the strategic expansion of our sea logistics business across the territory. You will be responsible for identifying high-impact growth opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue through innovative solutions. This role requires a sales strategist with deep industry expertise and a passion for delivering customer-centric value. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape the future of our sea logistics offering.

+ Define and execute business development strategies across assigned territory

+ Identify and pursue high-value opportunities and strategic partnerships

+ Lead negotiations and long-term contract development

+ Collaborate with product, operations, and finance teams to align solutions

+ Represent Kuehne+Nagel in industry conferences and client engagements

+ Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform strategy

+ Drive RFQ and contract negotiations with a focus on long-term value

+ Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value customers

What we would like you to bring

+ 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with a focus on sea freight

+ Proven ability in hunting for new business development opportunities and highly strategic sales opportunities in sea freight forwarding

+ Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills

+ Deep understanding of global logistics markets and customer needs

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data. \#LI-TW1
