    Accurately assigns ICD-10 codes to diagnoses and CPT Codes for procedures for reimbursement integrity and research purposes.

     

    Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology required. Minimum of two (2) years previous coding experience in an acute care setting preferred with working knowledge of ICD-10 and cpt coding. Keyboard/typing, 45 minutes wpm.

     

    High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of Coding experience required or currently enrolled in and/or having completed Coding program preferred. Associates degree preferred.
