    In this role as an Inside Sales and Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to District Managers (DM) and coordination between customers/integrators, sales, and execution. This position focuses on increasing General Industry (GI) bookings and profit growth as well as driving a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. This will be accomplished through ongoing engagement with our customers and Authorized Systems Integrators (ASI’s), site visits and presentations, and maintaining a strong robot product knowledge foundation in FANUC product information and automation process solutions.

     

    You must be a results-oriented, creative thinker with a desire to learn and proven experience navigating in fast-paced environment.

     

    Primary responsibilities will include

     

    + Support GI growth and market share objectives through identification and qualification of new customers and ASI’s using tools like LinkedIn, Company Websites, Cold Calls, etc.

    + Support DMs in the following ways:

    + Establishing & maintaining customer relationships with key end-user customers and ASI’s

    + Quantify value selling and “Why Buy FANUC” presentations to support closing GI sales and bookings

    + Develop various external and internal business meeting presentations

    + Activities as directed involving proposals, RFQ’s, SCR’s, SOR’s, EUD’s, OTS, Robot BOM’s, etc.

    + Function as backup support and a point of contact for DMs when they are on vacation

    + Financial establishment of new customers

    + Follow up on aging leads from marketing and leads distributed to ASI’s

    + Coordinate and support trade shows, regional workshops, ASI open houses, training events, school group visits and sales meetings

    + Ongoing liaison to Headquarters and Regional offices to identify best practices and support local implementation

    + Assist as needed in the resolution of aftermarket issues in cooperation with the Customer Service group

    + Backup to Administrator with management of robot inventory/availability to meet customer/integrator lead-times

    + Backup to Administrator with MSF, EGF and FOM accuracy improvement

     

    Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education

     

    + Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business-related field; or equivalent relevant experience

    + 2+ Experience with customer interface and communications in a sales and/or engineering environment

    + Proven high level of competency in Windows, MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other web-based applications

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics

    + Knowledge of engineering and automation disciplines

    + Automation and/or robotics experience as an Engineer

    + Working knowledge of robotics

    + Fundamental understanding of FANUC product catalog and applications

    FANUC American is seeking a qualified applicant for an Inside Sales and Support Specialist role. The pay range for this position is $62,733 - $101,670 per year. The pay range listed is based on both salary and other compensation, including bonuses and profit sharing, that an employee may be paid during their employment with FANUC America. Benefits include medical insurance, 401k savings, paid vacation, vision insurance, dental insurance, tuition reimbursements, disability insurance, life insurance, and paid holidays.     A compensation package offered to a successful applicant will ultimately be determined by consideration of a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, an applicant’s geographic location, educational attainment, and level of experience.
