    Employees at the Snowbowl and Rikert Nordic Center receive a free season pass and discounts for family for passes, rentals and Snow School.

     

    This is a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The hourly wage for this position is $17.50 per hour.

     

    Snow School Instructor Responsibilities

     

    + Teaches ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities and acts as a mountain ambassador.

    + Works as part of a team dedicated to creating the best possible environment for taking and teaching a ski or snowboard lesson.

    + Works cooperatively with all Snowbowl departments. Prepared to assist other departments as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    * Proficient ski and/or snowboard skills

    * Able to work in team environment

    * Excellent interpersonal skills

    * Must be flexible – willing to adapt and improvise for effective teaching of skills.

    * Must have ability to connect with people and understand group dynamics.

    * Knowledge of the safety procedures for missing or injured students and guests.

    Education & Training

    14 years of age or older
