    Job Description

    W&W Dairy Inc. located in Monroe, WI is hiring a Quality Control Technician. W&W Dairy is a demanding, fast paced cheese processing facility.

     

    $1,000 bonus after 90 days!

     

    Role and Responsibilities

     

    The QA Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safety, consistency, and quality of all products manufactured at W&W Dairy. This position is responsible for conducting routine inspections, sampling, and environmental testing on the production floor, as well as supporting compliance with internal policies and food safety regulations.

     

    + Perform line and floor inspections to verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and company standards.

    + Conduct in-process and finished product inspections for quality attributes such as weight, packaging, labeling, texture, and appearance.

    + Collect and document product samples for laboratory analysis, retention, and customer requirements.

    + Perform environmental testing (e.g., ATP swabbing, air and surface sampling) to monitor cleanliness and sanitation effectiveness.

    + Accurately complete QA documentation, checklists, and inspection reports.

    + Assist in investigating non-conformances and participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

    + Support SQF and HACCP programs by ensuring all processes and documentation meet regulatory and certification standards.

    + Communicate quality concerns or deviations to supervisors and production teams promptly.

    + Help facilitate internal audits, pre-operational checks, and verification activities.

    Requirements

    Required:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and communicate effectively with team members.

    Preferred:

    + 1+ year of **experience in food manufacturing** , quality assurance, or a related field.

    + Familiarity with **GMPs, SQF** , and HACCP systems.

    + Experience using quality testing tools and environmental monitoring methods.

    + Basic knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to work safely with power tools from 24 to 480 amps.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

    + Good communication skills; able to report issues and updates clearly.

    + Ability to read, write and speak English and/or bi-lingual preferred.

    + Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

    + Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as needed.

    + Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (standing, kneeling, climbing) for extended periods.

    + Experience with food-grade equipment and food safety standards.

    + Basic understanding of HVAC systems and refrigeration.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

    + Positive attitude, team-oriented, and reliable.

    + Experience with Vemag systems.

    + Experience with sealers.
