THOR Solutions is actively seeking a senior-level DOORS Management Analyst to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG)’s Ship Design Team (SDT) in Washington, DC. In this role, the candidate will utilize expertise with IBM Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) to implement and manage shipbuilding program’s requirements and processes. An ideal candidate will have at least six years of prior experience using DOORS in a USCG, DHS, DOD, or other shipbuilding environment.

Typical Responsibilities:

+ Implements enterprise requirements management information systems – specifically IBM

+ DOORS – usage across shipbuilding programs.

+ Executes the implementation of advanced software features such as the Change Proposal

+ System (CPS).

+ Manages processes and works with stakeholders to ensure standardized data entry.

+ Manages requirements database configuration user access, and data baselines.

Typical Physical Activity: Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.

Typical Pay Range: The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $90,000 – 120,000. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.

US Citizenship Required: Due to the requirements of the federal contract that this position supports, U.S. citizenship is required. Citizenship will be confirmed via I-9/E-Verify at the start of employment.

Security Clearance Eligibility Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate must either already possess an active or interim Secret security clearance (preferred); OR be eligible for a Secret security clearance upon hire.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ IBM Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements Systems (DOORS) advanced level training/certification.

+ At least six (6) years of professional experience administering and maintaining requirements documentation related to a defense program.

+ Experience should include at least three (3) years administering and maintaining requirements management information systems.

+ Proficiency with common productivity software including the Microsoft Office suite.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Training or experience with DOORS DXL development is preferred.
