    Grifols Diagnostic Solutions Inc is seeking a Quality Control Support Analyst 2. The primary job function of the QC Support analyst 2 is to test and release raw materials, sub-assemblies or finished goods.

     

    We are seeking individuals with at least an Associates degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.

    Primary responsibilities for role

    + Responsible for QC instrument calibration.

    + Performs general lab audits.

    + Responsible for maintaining product and QC material inventories.

    + Performs QC testing on finished materials for release

    + Performs Environmental Monitoring.

    + Responsible for maintaining QC laboratories (cleaning, glassware, etc.)

    + Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning procedures.

    + Maintains supplies and reagents.

    + Responsible for training QC analysts on test methods

    + Receives QC Materials, places QC samples in storage areas.

    + Maintains and organizes materials throughout the QC laboratories, freezers, and refrigerators

    + Makes buffers required for QC.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    + Knowledge of current GMP’s.

    + Working knowledge of general laboratory procedures, laboratory safety, and record keeping.

    + Working knowledge of microbiology, chemistry, and mathematics.

    Equivalency

     

    Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level typically requires and Associate’s degree plus 2 years of experience, an equivalent could include 4 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree.

     

    Pay Scale

     

    The estimated pay scale for this QC Support Analyst 2 based in San Diego, CA, is $26.49 to $33.11 per hour. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
