Robert Half Legal seeks a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join a dynamic and innovative life sciences company. This is a hybrid Contract-to-Hire position that provides an exciting opportunity to support highly specialized corporate legal matters in a growing industry. You will play a critical role in assisting in-house counsel and legal operations while contributing to the company’s success.

Responsibilities:

+ Corporate and Transactional Support: Assist with corporate governance, entity management, drafting resolutions, and recordkeeping for the company. Maintain corporate filings and compliance with relevant jurisdictions.

+ Contract Management: Prepare, review, edit, and monitor agreements including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendor contracts, sales agreements, and other commercial contracts. Maintain and organize contract database.

+ Legal Research: Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry-specific matters relevant to compliance and operational needs within the life sciences sector.

+ Document Management: Organize and manage legal documentation, including litigation materials, intellectual property filings, and other high-level records.

+ Compliance Assistance: Assist in tracking and monitoring compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and applicable laws impacting the organization’s operations.

+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, regulatory, and business teams to ensure legal strategies align with organizational goals within the life sciences space.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification strongly preferred.

+ Experience: Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably focused on corporate governance, contracts, and compliance within the life sciences or biotech industry.

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency with contract management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and online legal research tools.

+ Hybrid Flexibility: Willingness to work on-site three days a week in Santa Monica, CA.

+ Attributes: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines, and professional communication skills.
