    Robert Half Legal is partnering with a prominent family law firm located in Woodland Hills, CA, in their search for a Family Law Paralegal. This is an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days on-site).     Key Responsibilities

    + Assist attorneys in case management for family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, and domestic violence cases.

    + Draft and prepare legal documents such as petitions, responses, motions, declarations, financial disclosures, and settlement agreements.

    + Conduct legal research and ensure accurate filing of court forms in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

    + Manage case files and maintain organization across a high volume of active cases.

    + Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide status updates.

    + Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed to schedule hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.

    + Support attorneys during trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and managing trial binders.

    + Perform additional administrative and case management duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law.

    + Education: Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program is highly preferred.

    + Skills:

    + Proficiency in legal case management software and MS Office Suite.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
