Description
We are seeking detail-oriented Patient Service Representatives for both full-time and part-time positions to join our medical office. This role is responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating and managing front office operations. Potential candidates should acknowledge that opportunities for retention and advancement will be determined in alignment with the company’s operational needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet and check in patients, collect accurate demographic information, and enter data into the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Verify insurance coverage and update records accordingly.
• Oversee front desk operations including answering phones, managing office supplies, and processing medical records.
• Assist with medical supply inventory and coordinate patient care as needed.
• Monitor and audits cash/payment funds.
• Daily reconciliation of charges and payments
• Opens the office and let patients, guests and staff in through door buzzer
• Assist with any ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
• Client Service Oriented (both internal and external)
• Demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and good judgement
• Detailed oriented, excellent organizational abilities
• Strong Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of organization
• Strong interpersonal skills able to handle sensitive situations and confidential information
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Technology competency with electronic software needed for role
Minimum Qualifications:
• Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in a medical office setting
• High school diploma or GED
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
