    District Manager/Corporate HSE Director

     

    Safety Coordinator duties and responsibilities

     

    The Safety Coordinator is responsible for continuously monitoring and adapting safety procedures and operations to ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment for all employees. The main duties and responsibilities for this position include:

     

    + Develop and execute site safety plans

    + Conducting safety related training

    + Perform equipment inspections

    + Monitor compliance with safety programs and policies

    + Investigate accidents / incidents to determine Root Cause

    + Develop and implement corrective actions and track through closure

    + Identify unsafe trends / unsafe behaviors

    + Develop safety related reports

    + Conduct Hazard Assessments / Hazard Analysis

    Requirements, Education, and Skills

    + Proven experience as a safety coordinator (3-5 yrs)

    + Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines

    + Ability to produce reports and developing relevant policies

    + Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

    + Some type of professional safety certification, such as Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) is preferred
