    Job Description Summary

    Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.

    Job Description

    + The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills. Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.

    + Good manual dexterity.

    + Highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Good hand eye coordination while using a microscope

    + Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.

    + Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.

    + May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records.

    + Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

    + Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.

    + Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

    + May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
