Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking passionate Direct Support Personnel to support an Adult Day Program in South Orange County!

Details

+ Setting - Adult Day Program

+ Population - Adults from 22-40 with intellectual and developmental disabilities

+ Location - Laguna Hills or San Juan Capistrano

+ Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8am-2:30pm OR 8:30pm-3pm

+ Pay - $23/hr

+ WEEKLY PAY!

Duties

+ Self-help (menu planning, grocery shopping, laundry, household maintenance)

+ Personal development (fitness, hygiene, confidence skills)

+ Community integration as determined by individual needs/goals

+ Mobility training

+ Social behavior training

+ Providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as needed to redirect behaviors

+ Work in a 1:2 staff to student ratio

+ Build confidence through daily living skills like hygiene, communication and personal responsibility

Requirements

+ Must be 21 years of age with 5 years of driving experience

+ ABA experience preferred

+ Bring a can-do attitude and collaborative spirit to every shift - positivity is a must!

+ Approach challenges with optimism and a solution-oriented mind set

+ Relative medicals (TB test, drug screening), DOJ fingerprinting, background check
