Summary
The Territory Manager represents a designated client and will be focused on working closely with the Program Manager and the regional teams to grow sales revenue, market share and awareness in their assigned areas to targeted levels.
Essential Job Functions:
Work closely with field team to achieve assigned targets and objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with client and stakeholders
Analyze territory’s current state, develop, and implement specific business plans to deliver results
Partner with leadership to provide efficient timely support for issues within designated territory
Prepare and conduct audits for compliance purposes
Ensure field team is adequately trained by performing ride-a-longs, etc.
Working independently in the field driving business to team members
Attend trade shows and other identified events as needed
Support new applications, product launches and incentives
Perform quarterly “gap” reports to ensure territory’s needs are positioned properly
Work with the field team to identify and cultivate succession planning
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Program Manager to meet program’s needs
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work independently with very little supervision
Ability to create and deliver presentations to small and large groups of people
Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills
Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, meet deadlines and goals
Ability to communicate effectively and provide follow-up
Capability of working in a team-oriented environment that is fair, open and honest
Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and personal credibility
Ability to tackle complex issues and develop innovative and practical solutions
Action and detail oriented; able to prioritize while handling multiple tasks
Quick and strong decision-making skills in fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
1+ years’ experience in management or leadership role
2+ years’ experience in industry-related field
