Job Title: Summer 2026 Product Quality Intern

Summary:As a Product Quality Intern, you will help drive improvements in manufacturing processes and product performance by applying data-driven problem-solving techniques. You will support quality initiatives, collaborate with operations teams, and contribute to projects that enhance system reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include:

+ Identify gaps in Management Systems and execute improvements using DMAIC methodology and problem-solving techniques such as data analysis, process mapping, failure mode effect analysis, and control plans.

+ Execute processes necessary to support effective management systems to include all manufacturing operations

+ Communicate to operations leadership and manufacturing personnel as needed project status and requirements

+ Strengthen organizational culture through safety and sustainability, customer centricity, by focusing on employee engagement and inclusion.

+ Strive for Operational Excellence through innovation, to achieve focused improvements.

+ Project focus: Pull and analyze data for product improvement projects.

+ Project focus: Design and execute instrument repeatability studies

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

+ Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a similar technical discipline.

+ Good communication skills with all levels of the workforce and leadership.

+ Bring to closure assigned projects and clearly communicate information using appropriate tools (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Minitab) SAP experience a plus

+ Compliance to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and standards.

Program Qualifications:

+ The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.

+ The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
