    The Silver Grove, KY Wallboard Manufacturing plant is one of the world’s largest located just minutes outside of Cincinnati, Ohio.

     

    _What’s the job?_

     

    Are you challenged and intrigued by supporting multiple sites, a wide variety of operational processes and skill types to deliver on both our employee and customer experience?

     

    + Provide leadership, including direction of the Professional Maintenance (PM), Early Equipment Maintenance (EEM) Pillars. Progressively improves the Professional Maintenance status of all equipment on a prioritized basis using WCM techniques and practices.

    + Directly leads employees using team building, coaching, and teaching skills and knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to lead the PM activities in expansion of lean manufacturing to all areas of the plant.

    + Has extensive latitude for non-reviewed actions and the exercise of independent judgment and discretion within established policies and procedures.

    + Accountable for safe maintenance activities. Will promote, teach and improve safety systems and procedures to employees and contractors such as LOTO, permits to work, safety audits etc.

     

    _What do you bring?_

     

    A balance of urgency, energy, integrity along with patience, empathy and business acumen.

    + Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering, or five (5) years of equivalent training and experience.

    + 5+ years of maintenance experience in an Industrial Environment including 2 years of direct supervision experience.

    + Knowledge of plant engineering/maintenance disciplines, such as automated control systems, programmable logic controllers, safety regulations and practices, and professional industrial maintenance experience in 24 hr. continuous process environment.

    + Strong people development, teaming and collaborative decision-making skills required.

    + Strong experience interfacing with vendors and outside contractors as well as governmental agencies and compliance inspectors.
