**Job Title:** IT Hardware Support Technician
**Location:** Carmichael, CA (Onsite)
**Job Type:** Contract (Temp)
**Pay Range:** $22 – 25 /hour
**Shift Time:** 8 AM – 4:30 PM PST
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined **IT Hardware Support Technician** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, staging, configuring, and quality-assuring IT hardware for store locations and field service technicians. You will also refurbish and QA returned equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards before redeployment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Administer asset tracking using Client software systems.
+ Stage, configure, and perform bench repairs on store-specific IT hardware.
+ Refurbish and quality-assure returned hardware equipment.
+ Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
+ Record production details and inventory movements with precision.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.
Physical Requirements:
+ Constant walking and standing throughout the shift.
+ Frequent lifting of items under 30 lbs.
+ Occasional lifting of items up to 80 lbs with assistance.
Qualifications:
+ Completion of a 2-year technical school program or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
+ Basic administrative computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
+ Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
+ Training will be provided for the right candidate.
**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
