Job Title: Associate Scientist

Compensation: $20.49- $22.29

Type: Contract

Overview

Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an entry level Associate Scientist. Ideal candidates should have a bachelors degree with 0-2 years of experience and the ability to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

+ Regular maintenance and auditing of robust inventories

+ Performing inventory recalling activities for request fulfilment including sample preparation including aliquoting, sample checks (i.e UV-Vis)

+ Timely material recording and facilitation with Shipping and Receiving documentation

+ Managing large reagent inventories with Freezerworks software.

+ Evaluating and building new lab efficiencies towards sample management and logistic processes

+ Regular collaboration with team members and strong communication skills

Requirements

+ Hands-on laboratory experience (excluding college coursework).

+ Protein and/or antibody and small compound handling experience.

+ Practical and general knowledge and experience in a laboratory setting.

+ Experience with automated lab equipment and protocols is a plus.

+ Experience working with protein liquid chromatography or spectroscopy instrumentation. Prior experience working with electronic lab notebooks and/or LIMS systems.

+ Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related field with 0-2 years relevant experience, or equivalent.

+ Ability to work in cold environment

+ Lab Experience (fresh grad acceptable at lower rate)
