Senior Accounting Manager

Position Summary:

System One is partnering with a client seeking a Senior Accounting Manager who oversees all financial, accounting, payroll, purchasing, and internal control functions for the BOK Center and Arvest Convention Center. This role manages the Accounting Department, ensures compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies, and provides financial reporting to both the client and corporate.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, revenue distribution, and expense reporting.

+ Prepare monthly financial statements, annual budgets, post-show settlements, and financial performance analyses.

+ Oversee payroll, cash receipts/disbursements, and food & beverage reporting.

+ Ensure compliance with management contracts, audits, and risk management requirements.

+ Supervise accounting staff and act as Manager on Duty when required, including nights/weekends.

+ Partner with other departments to support the financial success of the venue.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA or MBA a plus.

+ 4–6 years of accounting/financial management experience, with supervisory background.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis.

+ Proficiency in ADP payroll and Sage accounting preferred.

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

+ Must pass background and credit checks.

+ Venue or industry experience strongly preferred.
