The role you'll contribute:
Under general direction, the Senior Imaging Engineer for Vascular and Surgery is responsible for managing the Service and Installation of Imaging Equipment within their assigned modality and aiding the Clinical Engineering Department and AdventHealth in the developing resources to achieve growth and reduce contract line. A successful candidate will develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with the departments they serve by prioritizing customer satisfaction and equipment up-time. The Senior Imaging Engineer will utilize the hospital performance improvement processes to aid in reaching the goal of developing a successful in-house Vascular and Surgery Imaging service program. The candidate will participate in and assist with meeting and maintaining all regulatory requirements within the Vascular and Surgery areas. The successful candidate will establish and maintain ethical working relationships and good rapport with Directors, Managers, Physicians, and other Hospital Leaders. The Senior Imaging Engineer will meet with customers, partners, and team members to assure departmental service standards are maintained (ie. Department Rounding). The Senior will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Adheres to safety standards and ensures the safety of patients and employees, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
Manages daily operations of the Vascular and Surgical areas by mediating problems related to scheduling, morale, and other personnel issues.
Provides timely and regular communications to customers and internal key stakeholders regarding customer and equipment issues, demonstrating a sense of urgency to resolve complaints. Performs other duties as assigned.
Develops and implements objectives, policies, and procedures related to the service of Vascular and Surgical C-arms.
Manages budgetary goals and provides action plans for recovery when variances occur.
Assists with quality management and acts as a Subject Matter Expert and Technical resource for Vascular & Surgical Technologists, Radiologists, and Imaging leadership.
Supports performance improvements and contributes to process improvement by serving on PI teams.
Participates in satisfaction initiatives and utilizes service recovery resources when appropriate.
Meets with key stakeholders regularly to keep them apprised of modality business.
Shares information with staff and provides meeting notes where applicable, promoting positive dialogue.
Ensures equipment functionality and contacts appropriate personnel for repairs outside the Vascular and Surgical areas scope of work.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
+ Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering OR 5 years of equivalent experience servicing X-ray Vascular Surgery equipment.
+ At least 10 years experience servicing X-ray Vascular/Surgery equipment.
+ Experience troubleshooting and replacing X-ray Tubes, Image Intensifiers, Cameras, Collimators, Detectors, HV Tanks, HV Cables, Power Supplies, and Battery sets required.
+ Experience calibrating system post repair to ensure safety for Care Teams and Patients required.
