    Description

    SAIC is seeking an **Engineering Tech IV** to support the US Navy in **Crane, IN**

    **NOTE:** Please note this is a 2nd shift position. Work schedule: 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. EST

    JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

    + Provides technical support for assigned systems or platforms to include the modification, maintenance and repair for the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Sustainment Branch.

    + Provides technical support for the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Sustainment Branch to include performing tasks such as assembling, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment.

    + Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment; coordinate test schedules; prepare inputs for test plans; review test plans and procedures; conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing; adjust units under test; analyze test results; and determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

    + AA Degree in related discipline and two (2) years or more of related experience; Or, High School and four (4) years of related experience.

    + Interim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

    + An understanding of electronics principles, mechanical systems

    + Ability to read engineering diagrams and drawings.

    + The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.

    + Must be U.S. citizen.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

    + Preferably 7711/7721 Solder Certified or J-STD-001 Solder Certified

    + Experience using hand tools.
