A growing health center in Rockland County, NY is looking to hire a part-time or full-time Dental Assistant for our fast paced dental department. We are looking for an experienced and caring individual.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Set up treatment/clinical area for patients

+ Obtain dental history and records from patients

+ Assist the clinician with procedures

+ Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations

+ Maintain inventory of dental instruments, equipment, and supplies

+ Assist with patient registration and provide patient education and treatment planning

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Knowledgeable on dental procedures, materials, and terminology

+ Basic front office knowledge (scheduling appointments, verifying insurances)

+ Quick and willing to learn, reliable and dependable, customer service oriented

+ 1+ years of dental assisting experience

+ Experience with Dentrix software preferred
