    Position Title: Assembler - Day Shift

    The Opportunity

     

    Responsible for assembling electronic components and wire harnesses. Requires proficiency with Hands-on Class 2 micro-electronics soldering.

    Responsibilities:

    + Solders components for electronic assembly.

    + Reads work orders (or receive oral instructions) to determine work assignments and materials needed.

    + Follows SOPs (work instructions) to assemble products for Hazard and Grain Bin Monitoring systems.

    + Meets productivity and utilization requirements.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Technology designation/certification, preferred.

    + Excellent manual dexterity of both hands and precision finger manipulation.

    + Up to 2 years' experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.

    + Hands-on Class 2 micro-electronics soldering experience and proficiency preferred.

    + IPC 10/IPC J-STD soldering training / certification preferred.
