• Senior Product Designer, User Experience Design

    Cella Inc (Wilmington, DE)


     

    Lead the design process from concept to completion, transforming complex information and workflows into intuitive user experiences across web and mobile platforms.

     

    Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design strategy with business goals and to ensure successful product launches.

     

    Present and advocate for design decisions and a clear design vision using a variety of methods, including sketches, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes, to gain buy-in from partners and senior leadership.

     

    Contribute to the team's inclusive culture by actively participating in design critiques, mentoring junior designers, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

     

    Apply a holistic, systems-thinking approach to problem-solving, leveraging principles of Design Thinking, and engaging in user research and journey mapping to inform design solutions.

    Qualifications:

    A minimum of 5+ years of experience in product design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing a proven design process and successful projects.

     

    Extensive experience working with and navigating design systems to ensure consistency across various platforms and touchpoints.

     

    Expert proficiency with industry-standard software like Figma and Miro is required, along with experience in user testing platforms like usertesting.com and Dovetail.

     

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly articulate design rationale, challenges, and solutions.

     

    A self-motivated and organized individual with a passion for continuous improvement, who can work autonomously while also being a strong team player and culture carrier.
