Duties & Responsibilities

+ Supervise and direct the nursing unit activities of the Neuro Med Surg department to ensure quality patient care and efficient nursing operations

+ Managing all nursing staff personnel

+ Lead unit quality assurance activities, and

+ Assist in in-service education and/or nursing staff training

Qualifications

+ Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina with three (3) - four (4) years clinical experience

+ Supervisory skills

+ Master's degree required within three (3) years of date of hire. If the master’s degree is not in nursing, a BSN is required with a master’s degree in related field as approved by the Director/ AVP or CNO.

+ Certification in nursing executive (NE-BC) or nursing executive, advance (NEA-BC) or ability to obtain within 24 months is required.
