    Maintenance Technician – 3rdShift

    Parker Lord’s Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications.     Essential Job Functions

    + Basic repair abilities in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronic, steam systems, plumbing, and HVAC

    + Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and wiring with some direction

    + Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems (water, chemical, hydraulic, and pneumatic)

    + Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment

    + Installs, maintains, and repairs machining equipment, transfer presses, process lines, and other general facility and production equipment with some direction

    + Cleans, inspects, and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery as part of assigned PM schedules

    + Read and interpret basic equipment operating instructions to perform repair

    + Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to perform necessary repairs and adjustments

    + Actively participates in LEAN projects and activities

    + Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures

    + Other assignments as required

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    + Minimum of 2 years of machine repair, electrical or general maintenance experience

    + 3-5 years of machine repair, electrical and general maintenance experience preferred

    + Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with limited information

    + Able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork

    + Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed

    + Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook

    + Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision

    + Experience with FANUC and Siemens controls preferred
