    **Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is hiring for a **Patient Care Coordinator** in **Bayonne, NJ** ! This role is onsite / in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

    **Type:** 4-month contract, with opportunity to extend

    **Schedule:** Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    **Pay:** $22 to $26/hour

    **Location:** Bayonne, NJ

    Responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator:

    • The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience. This position supports smooth patient flow by managing front desk functions, coordinating with the provider and medical assistant, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

    • Patient check-in and check-out.

    • Appointment scheduling, confirmation, and rescheduling for no-shows.

    • Insurance registration and eligibility verification.

    • Communication with providers, medical assistants, and patients to ensure smooth patient flow.

    • Contacting other clinics to obtain lab results or medical documents.

    • Scanning and uploading documents into the electronic medical record as needed.

    • Maintaining accurate records in Epic (Epic experience strongly preferred).

    • Supporting patients with questions and directing them to appropriate resources.

    Qualifications for the Patient Care Coordinator:

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • Strong communication and customer service skills (minimum 1 year experience).

    • Organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.

    • Experience with patient registration, scheduling, or eligibility verification preferred.

    • Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.

    • Prior experience with Epic is a strong plus.

    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

    **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
