Norris Cylinders Company, a TriMas Company, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of high pressure and low-pressure acetylene cylinders. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of operational functions that constitutes the production, inspection and distribution of products or services for our customers.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

+ Electrician experience

+ Knowledge of PLC, 3 phase, high and low voltage and variable drive experience.

+ Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

+ Maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing all plant equipment.

+ Must be able to troubleshoot electrical, PLC, robotic and hydraulic issues using schematics.

+ Perform robotic installation and repairs.

+ Knowledge of Allen Bradley and DirectSoft PLCs

+ Knowledge of 480-volt 3 phase, Low voltage VF Drive

+ Knowledge of CNC equipment

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

+ Adhering to the plant preventative maintenance program.

+ Performing preventative maintenance and routine service on machines and equipment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

+ Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested for successful completion of the mission of Norris Cylinder.
