    Salary: $1040 / Week

     

    The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

     

    Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric Inpatient (Per Diem, Local Only)

    Schedule Options:

    + AM Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    + PM Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

    + NOC Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

     

    Pay Rate: $65/hour (Local)

     

    Position Type: Per Diem

    Job Description:

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for a reputable inpatient mental health facility in Angwin, CA . This is a per diem opportunity for local candidates only .

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients, including medication administration, assessments, and implementation of treatment plans.

    + Oversee a team of Recovery Coaches; team size may vary based on patient census.

    + Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards.

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and safety.

    Qualifications:

    + Active California RN license.

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in psychiatric inpatient or mental health nursing.

    + Strong documentation and communication skills.

    + Must reside within 50 miles of Angwin, CA.
