    Required Skills:

    Software Engineer, Product Responsibilities:

    1. Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for various products or software services.

    2. Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systems.

    3. Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.

    4. Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.

    5. May be assigned to specific group focused on product or infrastructure.

    6. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

    7. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

    8. Work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem solving skills.

    9. Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    10. Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation

    11. Requires 1 year of experience in the following:

    12. 1. Coding in at least one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Hack or C#

    13. 2. Building large-scale infrastructure applications

    14. 3. Creating web applications using at least one of the following: Python, PHP, or Ruby

    15. 4. Relational databases

    16. 5. SQL

    17. 6. Implementing web interfaces using at least one of the following: JavaScript, HTML, or CSS

    18. 7. Owning a particular component, feature or system

    19. 8. Improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes

    20. 9. Applying Privacy & Integrity-preserving technologies, such as differential privacy and data retention policy, in software products scoping, design, and launch analysis

    21. 10. Implementing scalable A/B testing frameworks for new application features, including robust test configuration validation systems, and presenting A/B Testing experiment results to inform launch decisions

    22. 11. Developing scalable API metrics analysis systems for performance insights, including latency and error rate

    23. 12. Optimizing database query performance for real-time analytics in applications

    24. 13. Creating scalable API payload validation systems for input reliability, anti-scraping, rate-limiting and strict typing of parameters

    Public Compensation:

    $222,772/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
