*How you’ll contribute:*

A*Licensed Practical Nurse*who excels in this role:

• Under the direction of the physician, contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by the physician.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer

medication. Documents patient care given.

• Assists physician with development of plan of care.

• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with physician, patient, and families.

• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Applicants should have a current Tennessee or compact state LPN License. Additional requirements include:

* Basic Life Support certification is required at time of hire.
