    BayCare is looking for its newest Outpatient Wound Care, Charge RN in Tampa, FL. The Outpatient Wound Care Charge Nurse cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process, clinical standards and protocols and delegates appropriate care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

    Licensure & Certification:

    • RN license is required

    • BLS and ACLS is required

    Education:

    • Required BSN or BS in Healthcare Related Field or a RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion

    Experience:

    • Required 2 years experience as a licensed RN

    • Preferred leadership experience

    • Preferred wound care experience in a clinical setting

    • Preferred wound care certified

    Facility:

    BayCare Health System, Wound Care Center-SJH

     

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: No

     

    Shift Hours:** **8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

     

    Shift:** **Shift 1

     

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
