    Job Description

    Lead a high-performing team of Portfolio Managers serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, trusts, endowments, and foundations. This role combines strategic leadership, investment oversight, and client relationship management to drive growth and ensure excellence in portfolio performance and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Team Leadership & Growth**

    + Manage a team of Portfolio Managers investing client assets in alignment with company and client objectives.

    + Drive market growth through dynamic leadership and accountability.

    + Inspire employees and clients with exceptional communication skills.

    + Oversee a limited number of direct client relationships.

    + **Client Relationship Management**

    + Focus on expanding existing relationships, minimizing attrition, and developing new business.

    + Counsel clients on complex traditional and alternative investments.

    + Implement investment strategies through customized trading activity.

    + **Investment Oversight**

    + Develop and implement investment policies and strategies.

    + Stay informed on market developments using fundamental and technical research.

    + Present investment insights to clients and prospects in group settings.

    + **Compliance & Ethics**

    + Ensure adherence to U.S. Bank Code of Ethics, AML, BSA, and information security policies.

    + Follow account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral processes.

    + Participate in required corporate and business line training.

    Accountabilities

    + Lead PWM investment personnel across Minnesota.

    + Partner with market discipline leaders to align with regional and national goals.

    + Manage complex and high-value investment accounts.

    + Direct execution of investment programs across client portfolios.

    + Identify, hire, and develop top investment talent.

    + Serve as a regional investment leader within the Midwest.

    Basic Qualifications

    + 12+ years of investment management experience.

    + BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or related field.

    + CFP® or CFA designation (or progress toward).

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

    + Proven leadership experience with a focus on team growth.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    + Deep understanding of investment management.

    + Strong knowledge of finance, economics, and business.

    + Exceptional sales, relationship management, and client service skills.

    + Ability to present investment strategies effectively.

    + Independent decision-making capability.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $170,255.00 - $200,300.00
