What’s The Job All About?
The Co-Op – Safety Risk Management, will be based in Atlanta Georgia. This position will support the Manager – Corporate Ground Safety Initiatives and will gain hands-on experience managing program elements associated with Barrier Risk Management. This position will be directly responsible for data entry and analysis of risk data. This position is heavily focused on managing a wide range of operational risk and the successful candidate will be exposed to processes that allow a global carrier to effectively determine the risk across a broad spectrum of operational activities. This position may require some travel. The successful candidate will practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduatedegree in a 4-year academic institution.
+ At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
+ Must be available to work on a full-time basis for 3 alternatingsemesters: **Spring and Fall 2026, and Summer 2027.**
+ This position requires student to work for 3 alternatingsemesters. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online orin-person) and work as a Co-op/Intern at the same time, which may delaygraduation by 1-2 semesters.
+ Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for theduration of the Co-op.
+ Working as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-timeopportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation. This position is intended toprovide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student forthe workforce.
+ Have a strong command of all Microsoft Suite products and internetapplications.
+ Be able to effectively communicate information (verbal andwritten) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with diverseteams.

+ Be of the highest caliber due to access to sensitive risk data.

+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in theUnited States.
