Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team, focusing on assembly, operation, and production tasks within a warehouse environment. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, contributing to the blending, packaging, and handling of materials.

Responsibilities

+ Blend feed and grain mixtures efficiently.

+ Package finished products securely.

+ Handle materials from one area to another with care.

+ Palletize finished products to ensure stability.

+ Wrap finished pallets to maintain freshness.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.

+ Possession of a Diploma or GED.

+ Flexibility to work any shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience operating a forklift is advantageous.

+ Ability to maintain facial hair for effective respirator use.

Work Environment

The facility, located in Springfield, KY, is primarily a warehousing environment with work cells rather than production lines. It is a non-temperature-controlled building, equipped with industrial fans to ensure comfort during hot summer months. The position follows a 2-2-3 schedule, with initial training during day shifts before transitioning to nights.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
