    Machine Operator

    Job Description

    Embark on an exciting apprenticeship journey to become a press operator in a highly specialized industry. This role involves learning to set up and run presses, checking production schedules for proper job and plate usage, and maintaining job packets for future runs and layouts.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and adjust equipment as required.

    + Make running adjustments to machinery to ensure customer standards are met on end products.

    + Mix ink to match color sampling.

    + Observe equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.

    + Wash equipment after operations and preserve plates after printing.

    + Oil and grease machinery, if needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of machine operation experience.

    + Industrial or manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical inclination, which may come from previous work or personal experience.

    + Experience with troubleshooting minor issues on machinery or other equipment.

    + Comfortable using hand/power tools.

    + Experience in lithography or flexography is a plus.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
