Job Details Position Summary The Per Diem Risk Management Admin Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Risk Management Department. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, maintaining department spreadsheets and logs, supporting safety and compliance initiatives, and ensuring timely organization of documents, meeting minutes, and reports. The position plays an important role in promoting patient and staff safety and supporting the hospital’s risk management and patient safety programs. Key Responsibilities Clerical & Data Management Enter incident reports and safety events into designated databases (e.g., Midas). Maintain and update spreadsheets related to subpoenas, recalls, safety incidents, grievances, and high-risk cases. Organize and track correspondence with regulatory agencies, insurers, and defense counsel. Ensure proper filing, printing, scanning, and distribution of risk management documentation. Meeting & Communication Support Prepare agendas, handouts, and minutes for risk, safety, and claims review meetings. Support scheduling, communication, and follow-up on action items for department activities. Disseminate reports, updates, and educational materials to staff and leadership. Program Support Assist in monitoring product recalls. Provide clerical support for regulatory submissions. Support the Patient Safety Program by assisting with record-keeping for rounds, root cause analyses, and staff education sessions. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of clerical/administrative experience in healthcare, legal, or compliance setting. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ability to learn specialized databases (e.g., Midas Salary Range USD $22.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
